According to the Pattaya Times newspaper, the Consular Section of the American Embassy in Bangkok will visit Pattaya, Phuket and Udon soon and will offer theses services as a convenience to American Citizens: Notarial Services and Certified Copies ($50.00 or Baht 1,550). This includes income affidavits for retirees in Thailand. Passport renewal applications ($110.00 or Baht 3,410 for adult passports, and $105 or Baht 3,255 for a child’s passport). Extra US passport visa pages ($82 or Baht 2,542). Note: The Consular Section of the American Embassy in Bangkok will accept US Passports applications and renewals, but must clear the US Embassy for final processing the next working day. Social security, VA, or other US federal benefits questions will be taken and the visiting Consular Section of the American Embassy in Bangkok will try to provide forms and answers. Consular Reports of Birth cannot be processed during consular outreach trips. | |
