At the Grand Sole, Pattaya on November the 17th, Mr. Sonata Khunpleum, Culture Minister, was given, along with Associate Professor Chao Maneewong, the Palang Chon leader, the honor of opening the 4th session of the Palang Chon seminar which was attended also by members of Parliament, leaders of the Palang Chon Party and its participating members—a total of about 250 members. The Palang Chon party’s leadership seminar included guest speakers from the Office of the Election Commission of Chonburi to spoke about election law and also awarded certificates to all its members participating in the seminar.

Research studies are currently underway for the new underpass tunnels at Sukhumvit road, North Pattaya, South Pattaya and Thepprasit Road. The objective of the underpass tunnels is to reduce traffic congestion and allow traffic on Sukhumvit Road to become more flexible; moreover, it will also help in future transport development, travel and tourism.
The Ministry of Transport hosted a Public Relations seminar to discuss a Two Trillion Baht transport Infrastructure plan to serve the ASEAN Economic Community AEC). . The Airport Rail Link project is a part of the network between Bangkok – Korat, Bangkok-Chiang Mai, Bangkok – Hua Hin and Bangkok – Rayong. This is the second project supporting the economic growth and expansion to Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and China.
