Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome recently announced the the underground power lines to Koh Larn project’s completion along with thrilled city officials and happy locals. From now on there will be electricity available in Koh Larn all day and all through the night.

Koh Larn residents were pleased as the offcial announcement was made that the underwater electric cable system that will supply more power to Koh Larn will be ready this April.

Pattaya’s Mayor Proposes Three-Stage Plan to Develop

The Mayor of Pattaya City, Itthiphol unveiled his plans exclusively to News reporters of Pattaya Times to boost development and tourism on Koh Larn Island. In his statement, Mayor Itthiphol said “Koh Larn is one of Pattaya’s tourist destination but many people do not know that this island is under the patronage of Pattaya City in terms of development and preservation.

Tourism Low at Koh Larn Island

In a recent interview Mr. Banjert Jindasakchai, owner of restaurant and beach chairs stated to the Pattaya Times that two years ago the island was flled with plenty of tourist and visitors. Business was really good, Recently everything has headed downhill for all business owners on Koh Larn (Coral Island). Business is down by 50%.
