Homeless Children Numbers Increase Sharply

The number of Thailand’s homeless children nationwide jumped quickly to some 30,000 in 2010 from 20,000 in 2006, according to research by the Foundation for the Better Life for Children.

Philippe Seur is well-known as the doctor who donates his time and seeks out the resources in rescuing people living with HIV/AIDS, not only for the gay community but to anyone from Pattaya and far away who hear of his life-saving work and find their way to his office.

Children Development Committee introduces five new plans

A meeting was held to discuss measures to improve the lives of children and youth in society by improving their living conditions, physical, and mental health as well as implementing plans to improve the standards of education, reduce drug abuse and reduce the number of HIV/AIDS cases. The meeting was declared a success with five new plans introduced that is hoped to gain results within three years.
