The “Pattaya Be Our Guest” tourism stimulus program gets underway to counter declines in tourists arrivals in Pattaya following exaggerated and misleading local and international press reports of the H1N1 virus. Now that Pattaya has been declared safe as any other resort city in the world the local government and hoteliers want to encourage a revival in tourism.

Ministry of Public Health reinforces preventive measures against A (H1N1) flu

Ministry of Public Health recently reinforced measures to control the spread of the A (H1N1) flu virus (formerly called Swine Flu) by installing another 32 infrared thermal scanners nationwide.
