BANGKOK, - Thailand’s gross domestic product (GDP) will likely grow some 2.5-3.5 per cent or 3 per cent on average next year, boosted by the global economic recovery, according to a top banker.

President of the Senate of Thailand paid an official visit to Romania

H.E. Mr. Prasobsook Boondech, President of the Senate of Thailand, paid an official visit to Romania as guest of H.E. Mr. Mircea Dan Geoana, President of the Senate of Romania. During the visit, the President of the Senate of Thailand and the President of the Senate of Romania exchanged views on bilateral relations between Thailand and Romania, cooperation between the Senates of the two countries and global economic crisis.

 
IMF approves $US 47B Mexico credit line

The International Monetary Fund approved a $US47 billion ($A65.26 billion) credit line for Mexico on Friday under a new scheme designed to throw cash lifelines to countries hit by the global economic crisis.
