Pattaya City Expats Club, Pattaya Mayor Ittiphol Kunplome and Drew Noyes Celebrate 10 Years

The Pattaya Expats Club was the first Expat Club ever formed in Thailand and was organized and led by American Drew Noyes as Chairman for the first four years. In its third year the name was changed to Pattaya City Expats Club after Pattaya added the word "City" as the official name Pattaya City and some of the former members started a for-profit company called Pattaya Expats Club, Co., Ltd. The Pattaya (City) Expats Club celebrated its 10th Year Anniversary at its longtime home on the grounds of the Amari Orchid Pattaya. Pattaya Mayor Ittiphol Kunplome, Chief of District Mongkol Dhamakittikul, Founding Expat Club Chairman Drew Noyes, Current Chairman Michel de Goumois, Past Chairman Richard Smith, Past Chairman and Expat Club Founder Preben Hansen were all on hand to reminisce about the beginning of the club and its accomplishments over the last ten years.

Investigation into the on-going case against Lance Shaw - while he was based in Pattaya and operating the Hiperfinance gold scheme - has shown that all of the Royal Thai Police Immigration Bureau officers acted properly in all regards and, in fact, were responsible for the initial capture of the fugitive Lance Shaw.
