UDD Rally in Pattaya Starts Thaksin Petition

A rally was held in Pattaya to discuss how the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) red-shirted opposition will collect signatures for a nationwide petition to help Taksin return.

A man was arrested this week who is believed to be one of the red-shirt protesters who attacked the Prime Minister’s caravan as it left the ASEAN Summit pre briefing at a resort on Pratumnak Hill.

 
Pattaya Tourism Entrepreneurs disagree with red-shirt protesters who were not peaceful

A press conference discussing the red-shirt protesters in Pattaya who were not peaceful during the 14th ASEAN Summit was conducted at the Pattaya City Hall. It was attended by many important leaders from both private and government organizations led by Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome, Mr. Jamroon Wisavachaiphan, Chairman of Pattaya Business and Tourism Association (PBTA), Mr. Chatchawan Supachayanon (Chairman of Thailand Hotel Association-Eastern Chapter) and many other Pattaya entrepreneurs.
