Sattahip Naval Base recently welcomed 210 students from Ramkhamhaeng University to attend the Pre-Military Training Course in accordance with the University’s Academic Curriculum. The welcoming ceremony took place at the Sattahip Marine Command Center’s gymnasium. In addition, as part of the ceremony, a special lecture, “Current Political Situation and National Security” was delivered by Vice Admral Suvit Thararoop, Royal Thai Navy Commander. | Despite the cancellation of the Red Shirt rally, the Thai Cabinet recently imposed the Internal Security Act (ISA) from Saturday 29 August - Tuesday, September 1, to perform in the area of Dusit District. This was due to the plans of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) to gather up and hold a rally. |
