Mr. Wirasak Kowsurat, Ex-minister of Tourism and Sports joined together with the previous director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand to point out 10 ways to turn Pattaya into a designated tourist destination.

White sand beaches, caves, coral reefs, dolphin and whale watching, THE CHOCOLATE HILLS, mangrove forests, the tarsier sanctuary, waterfalls, island hopping, centuries-old Spanish churches, are among the numerous sites that can be seen and explored in this tropical paradise located in the central island group of the Philippine archipelago. From Manila, there are direct fights daily to Tagbilaran City.

Pattaya’s dynamic Mayor, Itthiphol Kunplome, age 36, has set his goals for the coming Year 2009 to repair the economy crisis and the tourist decline by making Pattaya a major tourist destination of Thailand and the World with the conservation of natural resources and the environment. Local and international tourists will be asked to participate, assisted by a transparent and fair management team.
