U.S. Navy Helps Underprivileged

The US Navy maintains a policy of having ship crews devote time to worthy charitable activities while their vessels are in dock in foreign countries.

Recently, a US ship and a US submarine paid R&R visits to our shores. The USS Decatur DDG 73 paid a visit to Pattaya for the first time. However, the ship is no newcomer to Thailand as Phuket has been a previous port of call. The ship is part of the Aircraft Carrier USS Reagan Battle Group.
