M Pictures CEO Padet Hongfa recently said the company would now focus only on film production and home entertainment. The company, a subsidiary of the Major Cineplex Group, imports films for screening in cinemas, and expects to return to profit this year after acquiring MVD, a distributor of movie VCDs and DVDs, and producing its own films.
