Another important celebration for Chinese people around the world as well as Thailand known as Vegetarian Festival was recently opened officially in Pattaya and was featured by beautifully decorated Chinese-style parades. The opening highlight was the cooking and offering of fried rice which has been sacred according to Chinese religious belief for the 4,999 people attending.

Sattahip’s Rojjana Dhammasathan Rescuing Foundation has held the traditional Chinese ceremony of the Great Donation every year. Surprisingly, this year, the ceremony attracted more than 3,000 needy residents, who queued up in order to receive donated articles.

The Chinese Forum, cooperative meeting between Chinese investors and the Thai Government aimed at stimulating the Thai economy, was recently held at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Pattaya.
