In August the biggest foreigner arranged Music Festival ever held in Pattaya raaised more than 1,000,000 baht to help children continue their education. The concert was held at Tappraya Road’s Chateau Dale Plaza and was organized by the Optimist International Club of Thailand and a new group known as the Pattaya Builder’s Association.

Children in the care of the Father Ray Foundation in Pattaya enjoyed an exciting fun filled October during the school holiday break. The 850 children and disabled young adults participated in activities that ranged from splashing around at the Pattaya Water Park to looking for Pooh Bear honey in Bangkok.

CTLS Language School, long established in Bangkok, has now opened a branch in Pattaya. CTLS Language School is a leader in the field of language courses and is recognized as a Government Approved Language School. CTLS also offers TEFL training and various foreign language and English courses for corporate, government and educational institutions.

A recent meeting of foreign business owners and high-ranking, Thai government officials was held at Bruno’s Restaurant to follow up on the fund-raising party at Château Dale Plaza last month that the Optimist Club of Thailand and Pattaya Times Media Corp. led by Drew Noyes and Pattaya Builder’s Group led by Barry Sullivan co-organized to help 11 local schools in the Pattaya Educational Service Area.
