In August the biggest foreigner arranged Music Festival ever held in Pattaya raaised more than 1,000,000 baht to help children continue their education. The concert was held at Tappraya Road’s Chateau Dale Plaza and was organized by the Optimist International Club of Thailand and a new group known as the Pattaya Builder’s Association.

Pattaya Music Challenge Competition 2009

In February Tanawat Tanthong, the hosting representative of Pattaya Music Challenge 2009 revealed to a Pattaya Times news reporter regarding this project that it was organized for the under 18 year old youths in Pattaya.

Pattaya’s Third Road Residents complain about Loud Music

Residents of The Village, on Pattaya Third Road and many residents around the area have recently filed a complaint regarding loud music during the night caused by three entertainment venues: Phuket, Chidlom, and Tanglak. These venues are located beside The Village and have produced an unacceptable level of loud music. The residents said that they have to take sleeping pills to fall asleep, as a result of the high decibel disturbances
