Police Officers Given Training to Improve Service Quality

The Chonburi Immigration Office recently held a training project to develop immigration police officer skills with local officers and officers from nearby provinces attending. The purpose of the training was to promote the new ‘3S’ service policy; Service Mind, Security and Standard.

Internal Security Act to be in Force for 15th ASEAN Summit to be held in Phetchaburi and Pradchuap Kiri Khan Provinces

The ASEAN Summit will be held in Phetchaburi and Pradchuap Kiri Khan Provinces from October 23-31. Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Suthep Thaugsuban said that the government has prepared to institute the Internal Security Act during the meetings and that Defense Minister Prawit Wongsuwon would be in charge of security.

Governor Adds Additional Security Measures for Tourists

Chonburi Governor Senee Chittakasem has recently issued new security measures to assure tourists of their safety during the upcoming high tourist season. This is in order to gain tourists’ confidence, with the measures focused on cracking down all crime related issues and a special focus on drug users and dealers.
