Local Police Receive Needed Jackets for Personal Safety

Foreigners in Pattaya do a lot to help society. Pattaya’s police were recently given custom-made, glow-in-the-dark "POLICE" safety jackets from Pattaya’s foreign-owned and operated legal and visa company serving foreigners, PAPPA Co., Ltd. Law, at their office on Thepprasit Road. The vest were donated in order to protect officers in the line of duty while making traffic stops and operating check points for violations, drugs and weapons.

Safe Areas Provided for Swimmers at Pattaya's Beaches

Pattaya City has allocated swimming areas roped off with buoys on both Jomtien and Pattaya Beaches to create a safe and clean swimming zone for locals and foreign tourists. These 100-meter long swimming areas now separate the swimmers areas from the jet-ski areas. There are four safe swimming zones on Pattaya Beach and six on Jomtien Beach. In the future the swimming areas will be placed on Wong Amart beach as well.

Turkish Airlines Chooses Bangkok As Regional Hub

Turkish Airlines is making Bangkok its regional hub as it rapidly expands in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The Turkish airline is counting on Thai Airways International as its strategic partner to enter into the Australia-New Zealand market.
