Tooth-colored fillings, also known as ‘Composite Fillings’ and ‘White Fillings,’ are a mixture of glass or quartz filler in a resin medium that produces a tooth-colored filling. Composite fillings tend to be used as an alternative to metal or silver amalgam fillings and are used to treat decay on a portion of the tooth or to replace an old silver amalgam filling and to maintain a white smile.

Following a recent death, every Provincial Public Health Office throughout Thailand was recently ordered by the Public Health Minister Vittaya Kaewparadai to strictly monitor and investigate unauthorized dentists, especially in beauty parlors where many teenagers have their teeth fashioned orthopedic ally. Offenders will be fined up to 30,000 baht or receive jail sentences of at least three years.

Ms. Nitacha Traipipat, Public Relations staff of the Pattaya Health Department, announced that free dental service will be provided consisting of fillings, tooth extraction and cleaning.
