Pattaya Lawyer Receives Top Honor from Thailand Immigration Bureau

Police Major General Sakda Chuenphakdee, Supreme Commander of Thailand Immigration Bureau came from Bangkok with his immediate staff of Immigration Police Commanders and Police Colonel Athiwit Kamolrat, Head of Chonburi Immigration to award American Mr. Drew Walter Noyes for more than 10 years of service helping foreigners obtain residency visas and settling disputes to help foreigners avoid jail, fines and possible deportation.

Earlier this year the Pattaya Times revealed that Thai authourities were planning to rid the country of undesirable foreigners who commit crimes here and abroad.This operation is now in full swing with arrests almost daily.

Free Six- Month Tourist Visas Available Again April 1st, for Now Pay 1,000 Baht

March 4 was the deadline for free Tourist Visas which can be extended for up to a six month stay issued through Thai Consulates and Embassies. In order to qualify all you need is your passport and a way to get to a Thai Consulate outside of Thailand. Free tourist visas will be available again April 1 through next March.

Crackdown Expands to Expel Foreign Criminals

The head of Thailand Immigration Lt. General Wuthi Liptapanlop Says Special Unit Formed to Hunt for Foreign Criminals in Thailand. At a special, high-level police conference held at a Jomtien Hotel on Soi 12 Friday and Saturday Police Lt. General Wuthi Liptapanlop announced the formation of a special unit called the National Criminal Center to catch foreigners wanted for crimes. He spoke in English to representatives of foreign embassies and police organizations stationed in Bangkok about how to all work together to catch foreign criminals.
