More than 100 of Pattaya Police and Police Volunteers recently escorted two of the five men who staged a daring daylight robbery with assault rifles and black clothing with facemasks in paramilitary style on a Jomtien gold shop on May 4 to reenact their crime. The reenactment took place on May 6, at 11:00 am and attracted hundreds of onlookers to the former crime scene.

India probes dispute over 'Slumdog' child star

MUMBAI, India (AP) Indian police are investigating claims and counterclaims by the parents of a child star in "Slumdog Millionaire" after a British tabloid alleged the father tried to sell the 9-year-old girl to an undercover reporter.

Two brave Family Mart female shop assistants used a kitchen knife to stop two robbers from stealing money from the cash register.

Public and private sector join forces for good

On their day off, leaders of the Pattaya Immigration Police and the editors of the Pattaya Times spent the morning together at Wat Nongprue.
