CDC recommends that sick workers stay home if they are ill with influenza-like illness until at least 24 hours after they are free of fever (100° F [37.8° C] or greater) or signs of a fever without the use of fever-reducing medications. This would require employees to stay home for 3 to 5 days in most cases. The Center for Disease Control recommends this time period away from work regardless of whether or not antiviral medications are used.

850 million baht budget approved to deal with A (H1N1) crisis

The Thai Cabinet on July 14 approved a budget of 850 million baht to be used in dealing with the current influenza A (H1N1) worldwide crisis, which has hurt the tourism economy, and at least 24 Thais have died, while more than 4,000 people across the country have contracted this strain of the flu.

 
Government orders bars, other institutions to prevent viruses
