I was appointed as a member of the Board of my condo association in Jomtien while I was away from Thailand. So I signed a Power of Attorney for another owner and board member to cast my votes and to sign documents pertaining to the condo association on my behalf.

Pattaya City Hall will host a seminar conducted by Chonburi Provincial Court judges in English explaining Thai law and the judicial system. PAPPA Co., Ltd. Law office's Drew Noyes will be the moderator. Chief Judge Visit Sripibool has instructed Presiding Judge Mahachai Srithongklang of Chonburi Provincial Court in cooperation with the Pattaya Administrative Organization in Pattaya City Hall to organize a seminar in English to help foreigners in Thailand understand Thai law and their rights. Several hundred foreigners are expected to attend this first-ever seminar on Thai law in English with a panel of sitting judges.

I brought my girlfriend of two years to the States and married her about six months ago. As things sometimes go, she became pregnant. Hello Drew, I got your email contact address from your newspaper (very good read btw) and would like your expert advice. My Thai girlfriend and I had a Thai wedding ceremony in her village about 8 years ago but we are not legally married - i.e. not registered at any Amphur. Just had the Thai wedding ceremony only.
