Japan Quake May Cost 20 Billion Baht in Tourism Revenue

Thailand is set to lose between 15-20 billion baht in tourism revenue in 2011 due to a decline in the number of Japanese tourists arrivals in the wake of the massive quake and tsunami which has devastated Japan’s northeast coast, according to a research conducted by privately-run Kasikorn Research Center.
