World renowned Korean tenor Kim Jun Man recently visited the Pattaya School for the Blind and gave students some valuable singing lessons. Before the lesson started Mr. Kim was blown away by the students beautiful rendition of ‘Amazing Grace’.

There are an estimated 1.9 million people with disabilities living in Thailand. According to the Royal Thai National Statistics Department 92% of these people are uneducated and unemployed. 42% come from Isaan, the northeastern region of the Kingdom. Typically those with disabilities remain housebound and totally dependent on their families.

The Father Ray Foundation gets Six New Houses

The Father Ray Foundation recently opened six new houses, bringing the total to ten, which now accommodate 45 orphaned children aged 10 through 18. The Father Ray Foundation provides education, food, accommodation and a caring environment so that the children can learn the skills needed to succeed in life and to contribute to society in general. Our picture shows one the new houses with the students praying and thanking the good-hearted people who donated money to make all this possible.
