Over half a million British ex-pat pensioners are now being deprived of their entitlement to annual increases to their state old-age pensions due to new British government regulations with many of these living in Pattaya and throughout Thailand. Many others are receiving the increases by stating that they are still residing in Britain when they are actually living abroad, however they are committing fraud by doing this and the British government is set to crackdown on these people which could lead to people losing their pensions altogether. | As part of the SME Phase 1 component of a new entitlement program the government has given the green light to support private school students, in addition to public school students with their educational fees. For 15 years students will be given this financial assistance, regardless of the income of the parents or guardians. |
