The Top of the Gulf Regatta will take place from April 29 to May 3 at Ocean Marina Yacht Club in Pattaya.

The Pattaya Expats Club was the first Expat Club ever formed in Thailand and was organized and led by American Drew Noyes as Chairman for the first four years. In its third year the name was changed to Pattaya City Expats Club after Pattaya added the word "City" as the official name Pattaya City and some of the former members started a for-profit company called Pattaya Expats Club, Co., Ltd. The Pattaya (City) Expats Club celebrated its 10th Year Anniversary at its longtime home on the grounds of the Amari Orchid Pattaya. Pattaya Mayor Ittiphol Kunplome, Chief of District Mongkol Dhamakittikul, Founding Expat Club Chairman Drew Noyes, Current Chairman Michel de Goumois, Past Chairman Richard Smith, Past Chairman and Expat Club Founder Preben Hansen were all on hand to reminisce about the beginning of the club and its accomplishments over the last ten years.

The Optimist Club of Thailand got together recently to sponsor a fishing day for children from the Banglamung boys home at the Mun Issan Fishing Park located on Soi 21 about 2 kilometres east of Sukhumvit.

The monthly white party on the beach at The Beach Club of Pullman Pattaya Aisawan was recently held under the theme “White Carib".
