Foreign Visitors in 2009 Reaches 14 Million as Targeted
Thailand's tourism industry, which provides thousands of jobs both directly and indirectly and has been much affected by domestic political conflicts and the global economic slowdown, has now recovered with about 14 million foreign tourists visiting the Kingdom in 2009 as earlier targeted, according to Minister of Tourism and Sports Chumphon Silpa-archa.

Pattaya Players (home of Pattaya's Professional Amateurs) is proud to announce its second annual Halloween Haunted Ghost Tour entitled, "Spooks, Spirits and Specters!" on Saturday, October 31, 2009. This chillingly haunting script was written by local Pattaya residents, Christopher Parsons and Ray Light brown. Parsons will also be directing the haunted tour. "Spooks, Spirits and Specters!" takes unsuspecting spectators on a 30 minute guided walking tour of Horseshoe Point's breathtaking Three Kingdoms Park, highlighting ghost stories from all around the world. At each stop, the macabre Tour Guides will retell the legends of ghostly visitations and other scary tales of infamous poltergeists and hunted happening, while the Pattaya Players troupe members portray the sinister specters! | |
