2010 Harvest Activities in Thai Vineyards

The members of the Thai Wine Association, which include Alcidini, Granmonte Family Vineyards, PB Valley Khao Yai Winery, Siam Winery, Silverlake Vineyards, and Village Farm have announced the harvest festival program starting in February until mid–March 2010.

On April 18-19, the Songkarn Festival was celebrated to the fullest in Pattaya and Naklua by locals and tourists alike.

This year’s Songkran festival in Pattaya and Naklua started with local residents and tourists visiting Thai temples to pay respect to monks. The people then proceeded to the streets to start the water splashing celebration, putting aside their worries of the current political debacle.

Pattaya Floating Market Celebrates First Anniversary with Loy Kratong Festival

The beautiful Pattaya Floating Market invites Pattaya residents and tourists to take part and experience its Loy Kratong Festival as part of its celebration of the first anniversary of the market.

A group of leading chefs cooked fried vegetarian mix for the attendance.

Another important celebration for Chinese people around the world as well as Thailand known as Vegetarian Festival was recently opened officially in Pattaya and was featured by beautifully decorated Chinese-style parades. The opening highlight was the cooking and offering of fried rice which has been sacred according to Chinese religious belief for the 4,999 people attending.

The Ministry of Industry, in association with Pattaya City, will organize the Industrial Products Fair under the program, ‘The Ministry of Industry Meets the People.’ The fair will feature thousands of products displayed at more than 100 booths; and will take place along Pattaya Beach Road, from Mike Shopping Mall to Walking Street, October 27-November 2.
