Pattaya City Expats Club at the Amari hold special seminar on land ownership

Richard Silverberg introduced the speaker for the seminar on land ownership as well known to the Club having been a long time member and former three-term Chairman of the Club’s Board of Governors and MC for three years Drew Noyes. Drew operates several businesses in Pattaya including a news media group (Pattaya Times) and PAPPA Co., Ltd., which provides legal and visa services.

Chonburi Governor Senee Chittakasem recently chaired the opening ceremony of the Agricultural Mobile Clinic – A project under HRH Prince Crown Chakkri Mahidol. The opening was held at the Takiantia Municipality, Banglamung.	Governor Senee Chittakasem along with more than 300 agricultural related officials and people have recently welcomed Deputy Prime Minister Korbsak Sapawasu to the Ban Bueng City Hall.

Now visitors can get a real taste of Thai culture by touring an actual rice farm in Pattaya, thanks to the Pattaya Floating Market. Also, handmade products, some of a bygone era, are crafted in this unique village.	The Ministry of Commerce planned to promote exports to neighboring countries Cambodia, Laos, Burma and Vietnam this year in expecting to increase sales by 10 percent.

1,000 species of orchids and cultivation cover more than 5,000 rai, with the bulk of the land dedicated to growing located in Bangkok and neighboring provinces such as Nonthaburi, Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani and Chonburi.	The Cabinet, during its meeting on June 23, endorsed the designation of June 5 each year as National Rice and Farmers Day, in recognition of His Majesty the King’s contribution to Thai rice and the life of farmers.
