This has nothing to do with the Bible, but it does have to do with biblical values, and is so great I just have to pass it on. This is about the greatest college basketball coach of all time.

On a draft day that felt like the trade deadline, the Los Angeles Clippers never considered a deal. Not when they were the ones who could take Blake Griffin. Following a flurry of head-turning trades around the NBA, the Clippers started Thursday night’s draft with the obvious choice: Griffin, the only player considered a sure thing in a class full of question marks.

Kobe Bryant has the NBA title he needed most -- the one without Shaq. Bryant’s seven-year chase of a coveted championship is over. He’s got his fourth, and Los Angeles coach Phil Jackson his record 10th, a ring for each finger. One year after failing in the finals, Bryant and the Lakers have redemption, and all the rewards that go with it.

ATLANTA – The final blowout went to Atlanta, so it is the Hawks who will get a shot at LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

MIAMI (AP)—with tears streaming from his eyes, Alonzo Mourning watched his jersey raised to the rafters by the Miami Heat on Monday night, making him the first player in the organization’s 21-year history to receive that honor.
