The gorgeous “Kevin Balot”, a transgendered woman from the Philippines, won the Miss International Queen pageant for 2012.

The international stage contest was held for transgendered contestants at the Tiffany’s Show Theater, Pattaya City last week in a search for the most glamorous “ladies” among 21 contestants from 15 countries worldwide. The pageant’s theme was “Gallery of Glamour” and the top prize was captured by Kevin Balot, a beauty from the Philippines. She won a royal sash, a diamond crown and a host of different prizes. In addition, she was also appointed as the Public Relations Ambassador for equal rights for the “third gender” in society.

Miss Jessika Simoes of Brazil won 1st runner-up, while Ms Jele Panvilas Mongkol won 2nd runner–up. A portion of the earnings from the contest will be contributed to the Chai Pattana Foundation to implement the development initiatives of His Majesty the King.
