A revenue management seminar for hoteliers is scheduled for 26 to 27 September, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok.



Targeting hoteliers in the Mekong region it will feature mainly cases studies.

The 2012 Indochina Hotel Revenue Management Seminar covers two days and is suitable for general managers, director of sales and marketing or revenue managers.

It is designed to share ideas and establish a networking channel  for people in the hospitality industry with the focus on mastering revenue management through case studies.

Skal International Bangkok president, Dale Lawrence, will open the seminar followed by RM strategies and experience in Indochina by Starwood Hotels & Resorts regional director of revenue management Indochina, Chavi Mahotra.

A case study on Vietnam will be presented by Windsor Plaza Hotel RM director, Natalie Le and Windsor Property Management Group vice general director, Thuy Tien Luong. Another case study of the Sukhothai Bangkok Hotel led by director of revenue strategy, Philip Niemann will follow.

Other case studies include Cambodia by Luxury Machine managing director, Borey Chum and a presentation by Thai Hotels Association president, Surapong Techaruvichit.

RM development in the Mekong region as well as software and technology that can enhance RM effectiveness will be covered on the second day.

The seminar costs US$1,999 per person for a service provider and US$1,099 per person for hoteliers. However, those who are members of THA and Skalleages pay a special rate of US$799.
