Rotary Youth Exchange Visitors Help Flood Victims

Rotary Youth Exchange visitors and students from local schools raise flood relief donations.
A group of 46 young
people from seven countries under the Rotary Youth Exchange system visited
Pattaya and took part in a fund-raising event to help victims of the flooding.
The visit was
organized by Rotary Youth Exchange of District 3340 Rotary International, with
the visitors coming from the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, France and
Japan and staying with Rotary members in Issan and Eastern Thailand.
The fund-raising
event took place on November 25, and was headed by Thongchai Lortrakanonth,
president of the Rotary Youth Exchange Foundation of District 3340 Rotary
International, Pratheep Malhotra, joint president of the Youth Exchange Project
of District 3340, and Mrs Orn-a-nong Siripornmanus, president of the Youth
Exchange Project of District 3340.
A parade was held, starting at the Town Hotel in Pattaya Klang Road and ending at Central Festival, Pattaya Beach, with students from each country performing music and dance from their own countries.
