Thai Windsurf Team Wins 3 Golds and 1 Silver at SEAGames
The Windsurf Association of Thailand has beaten the host country by winning three gold medals and one silver medal at the 26th SEAGames in Indonesia.
Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome, as president of the Windsurf Association of Thailand, and the association’s vice president Rear Admiral Sarayuth Dangthet announced the success of the Thai team on 22 November.
Mayor Itthiphol said the association had accomplished its goals by winning three gold medals and one silver medal.
Eak Boonsawad won the gold medal in the male RSX class, Miss Siriporn Kaewdoungngarm won a gold medal in the female RSX class, and Navin Singsart won a gold medal in the male One Design class. Miss Napalai Tharnsai won the silver medal in the female Mistral One Design class.
The Windsurf Association of Thailand will be participating in various tournaments between November 28 and December 20.

tralia to compete for the world championship in windsurfing and this competition is also to select competitors for the Olympics in London.
The Windsurf Association of Thailand has also been invited to be the host of the Asian Windsurf Championships between 19-29 January 2012.
