Lions to Stage Charity Boxing Tournament
Lions Club Na Kluea has organized a charity boxing match on December 3 as part of the celebrations leading up to the 84th birthday of His Majesty the King, with the funds raised to be used to buy equipment for Banglamung Hospital.
The announcement of the event was made on November 17 at a presentation attended by Deputy Mayor Wattana Jantawaranon, Vorapot Pongpalee, president of Lions Club Na Kluea, and Yodthong Senanun from the Muay Sil Boxing Club.
Mr Vorapot said that Lions Na Kluea is working with District 310 C Lions Club to organize this event.
There will be 10 pairs of first-class boxers, and also featured will be Thai boxers versus foreign boxers. The bell will sound at 19.00 hrs on Saturday, 3 December at Lanpo Na Kluea temporary stage. The price for Thais is 200 baht and the price for foreigners is 1,000 baht. For more information call 081 723 4926.
