The Chief District Officer of Banglamung has asked for co-operation from 14 landowners to pull down building structures where they are intruding onto the South Pattaya Canal.

District Chief Chaowalit Saeng-Uthai along with Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasing told landowners and tenants that the area is to be inspected and that certain structures will have to be removed.

The recent flooding had prompted Chonburi provincial governor Wichit Chatpaisit to order the inspection by the Office of Lands.

Government authorities are providing up to 15 days for the inspection and up to 30 days will be allowed for removal of the buildings.
