Lovers of local cuisine will have the opportunity sample the tastes of Thailand and beyond from July 7 – 10 as the Eastern Fun Food Fest kicks off along the entire stretch of Pattaya Beach Road. The annual festival is aimed at increasing visitor numbers to the region




 


During a recent press conference to announce the festival, it was revealed that the fair will encompass the 4 eastern provinces of Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat in cooperation with local hotels and restaurants offering special promotions. The focus will be on the regions vast amount of seafood as well as other regional delights. Free concerts from well-known Thai artists and bands including Blueberry, Em Attapol, Teddy Skaband, Calorie Blabla, 'Boythai'aka Chaiyuth Thosanga and Bangkok Xylophone will add to the fun.

Pattaya Beach Road will be lined with a variety of more than 200 stalls from hotels, tourist destinations offering their wares and services to visitors and of course, delicious food.

The press conference in Chonburi announcing the festivities was hosted by Deputy Governor Pongsak Preechawittaya, Apiradee Sirivjitsakul, President of the Chonburi Tourism Promotion Association, Thanet Theeranant, Head of Chantaburi Provincial Public Relations Department, Chuchat Ooncharoen, Rayong TAT Director, Benjawan Palaharn from Trat provincial office and Pattaya Mayor Itthipol Kunplome.
