Open Auditions for 'Rumors' by Neil Simon

Pattaya Players (Home of Pattaya's Professional Amateurs) will be casting characters to play in ‘Rumors' by Neil Simon. There are 10 parts for adult males and females of varying ages. Though this is mostly an ensemble cast production, it will nonetheless require savvy and experienced actors willing to take on especially challenging roles.
Auditions will be held at The Eastern Grand Palace Hotel at 6.30pm February 10. All interested parties both talent-wise and back stage should plan on attending. The performances will take place on June 10-11 at The Rattanakosin Ballroom (also in The Eastern Grand Palace Hotel).
'Rumors' centers around four couples who arrive at the townhouse of a Deputy Mayor and his wife to attend a party celebrating their tenth wedding anniversary. However, the four couples soon discover that there are no servants, the hostess is missing and the Deputy Mayor has shot himself in the head (though it’s only a flesh wound). Comic complications arise when, given everyone's upper class status, they decide they need to do everything possible to conceal the evening's events from the local police and the media.
