The Miss International Queen Contest finally came to an end with a South Korean Beauty named Mini crowned as the winner.

Not only did Mini herself steal the judges’ hearts but her national costume was also named the most beautiful national costume among 23 other contestants.

The contest was held at Pattaya’s Tiffany's Theater under the “To Dream the Dream” concept. The 23 stunning contestants came from 15 different countries around the world. This is the 6th year in which the competition has been held and every year the contestants never fail to wow the crowd with the beauty and talent.

After several days of participating in events and activities throughout Pattaya the contestants were judged and evaluated.

During the night of the final round, previous winner Haruna Ai from Japan got the crowd going by performing her chart-topping half English half Japanese track. The contestants were then later introduced to the audience followed by strutting down the catwalk in skimpy swimsuits.

After some jaw dropping bodies were shown off the contestants then later graced the catwalk in their dazzling night gowns.

From 23 contestants, the judges narrowed them down to the final 10 and then the final three.

While the judges were making their decision, last year’s winner Haruna Ai walked down the catwalk for the last time while her thank you speech was playing in the background. This brought tears to some of the Japanese audience who came in high spirits with flashing signs and balloons.

South Korean beauty Mini won the title of this year’s Miss International Queen along with 320,000 baht prize money. The first runner up went to cute faced Ami Takeuchi from Japan who won 64,000 baht. The second runner up was the only African-American contestant this year, Stasha Sanchez from the United States who won 48,000 baht.

Thai contestant Nalada Thammatanakorn or ‘Mick’ didn’t go home empty handed, as she won The Best Evening Gown Award.

Other awards included Best Talent which went to Melania from Columbia who lip-synced the “This is my life” song with images of her childhood when she was still a handsome looking boy flashing in the background. Miss Congeniality was won by Stella Rocha from France, Miss Photogenic was Ami Takeuchi from Japan and Miss Perfect Skin was Alexandra from Sweden. As for the Miss Ripley’s Popular Vote the winner was Barbie Gauthier from Belgium.
