Pattaya United is not likely to be the champion of this year’s Thai Premier League but there is still hope for us as Chonburi FC remains in the second spot.

With the season coming closer to an end the matches are getting tougher. There are three teams who can still win the championship; Muang Thong United, Chonburi FC and Buriram PEA.

Pattaya United has climbed up to the fourth spot and are no longer in the running for the  championship but they have still exceeded the expectations of many.

Chonburi FC finished the first half of the Premier League in second place  just five points behind Maung Thong United. During the start of the second half, Chonburi FC battled against Pattaya United in which they tied with a score of 2-2. They later defeated Osotspa Saraburi with a score of 2-0. With this win they were still behind Muang Thong United who defeated Thai Port with the score of 1-0.

As for Pattaya United, they started the second half of the season with two good games. They were able to tie with Chonburi FC and defeated Thai Port with the score of 1-0 which moved them up from the fifth spot to fourth.

Each team now has  11 matches remaining this season. The coaches are pushing the players even harder and more players are being added to the teams. Chonburi FC is hoping to step up their game by adding Nay Fasiano to the team who played for them two seasons ago. Team Manager Ornnop Singtothong feels confident that Nay can lead the team to victory.

The upcoming match for Pattaya United will be on August 15 in which the team will compete against TTM Phicit at the Nongprue Football Field at 6:00 pm

On August 18 there will be a match between Chonburi FC and BEC Tero  which will be played at the IPE Chonburi Stadium at 6pm. On that same day Pattaya United will also be battling against Burrirum PEA at the I-Mobile Stadium in Burrirum province.
