Buying Insurance for Non-Thais

Foreigners in Thailand are able to purchase different types of insurances available in the market if necessary documents are provided such as a valid work permit, a long-term residence visa or a marriage visa.

When buying health and life insurance, foreigners will be subject to a medical check-up. There are many companies and independent financial advisors in Thailand offering insurance policies, some with saving plans that can be used for tax rebates.
