PSC Golf from Tropical Bert's - pattaya - times - sports - golf - berts

Tuesday, 6 July Green Valley - Stableford A very select group jumped into cars and ambled up to Green Valley for a 10 O'clock start. I say ambled as the drive up there is now so much quicker we may even be able to stay in bed for an extra 30 minutes soon. This goes not only for this Course but all the Courses for which Route 7 is the lead into. Mind most like to get in early to sample Bert's Golfers Breakfast.

With the new deal at Green Valley, Green Fee/Caddy/Cart for 1250Baht it was easy for most to make a decision not to walk, but some still did with the Vouchers. We were soon off and never spotted another group either in front or behind, talk about Millionaires Golf. The Course itself was in fine condition with only the slowness of the greens a bit of a downside. Great weather and an empty Course made for a very pleasant round.

I usually sit in The German Restaurant for my 'Monthly Fix' that is Currywurst Mit, I have to say amongst my favourite foods having lived in Germany for many years. Why do you think I book Green Valley so often?. Yes I know the Course is great, But!!!!.

Oh, the Golf, well back at Bert's as we made good use of Bert's 'Happy Hour, or Three'  we had a decisive winner. Brian Gabe won with 36 points ahead of a three way countback on 33 points that saw Mashi Kenata in second, Derek Brook in third and Dick Warberg just losing out.  Brian and Derek also cleaned up the 'Near Pins' so 'Happy Hour' was indeed happy. T.T.F.N.

Near Pin    Brian Gabe     Derek Brook (2)

002  Winner and Runner Up
