L'Occitane Introduces a New Fragrance and Limited Edition Make-Up Collection
The limited edition make-up by L’Occitane uses natural ingredients and beautiful nature-friendly packaging.
L'Occitane, the skincare and fragrance line from France with stores all over the world and a large booth at Central Festival Pattaya Beach, in August will launch a new fragrance and limited-edition make-up line inspired by the beautiful peony flower.
L’Occitane latest fragrance is the Peony Eau de Toilette. This fragrance captures the subtle aura of the peony flower at the height of its bloom, when its petals reveal rich floral notes with hints of green freshness. The fragrance is bottled in a feminine style that evokes the delicate roundness of a peony as it comes into bloom.
The peony grows naturally around the Mediterranean basin. Long before it became famous as an ornamental plant, the peony was renowned for its medicinal properties. Every spring, it offers a dazzling carnival of colors and scents. With the peony in mind, L’Occitane teamed up with Jean-Luc Rivière, a nurseryman passionate about peonies. Mr. Rivière’s family have been dedicated peony breeders and cultivators for over 160 years. Following Mr. Rivière’s advice, L’Occitane was able to develop a natural extract of peony root, which later gave birth to L’Occitane’s newest perfume and make-up collection.
Ms. Karan M. who was one of the first to get a sniff of the perfume said, “This fragrance smells like a beautifully balanced bouquet of freshly cut flowers. It is perfectly floral without heavy overtones. Romantically feminine and refreshing I think it is the ideal scent for all seasons. I love it!”
The peony flower inspired make-up collection has an extraordinary palette of colors of more than 700 varieties. It is by far this year’s best spring and summer makeup range, full of fresh and natural colors. Each shade is named after the peony variety it reflects such as Mine d'Or (Goldmine), Nuage Rouge (Red Cloud) and Feu d'Artifice (Firework). Nineteen peonies for 19 products with delightful formulas will surely bring a healthy glow to one's cheeks and glide on the skin.
One of the recommended make-up products is the Duchesse de Morny Peony Face Color Powder Duo in which Ms. Alexandria S. who got to try the product first said, “The colors of this set are gorgeous. The pale purple has a lovely matte finish and looks incredible over the entire lid-soft and natural. The dark shade used as a liner finishes the look beautifully.”
The entire range is expected to be available at Central Festival Pattaya Beach this August.

The L’Occitane booth at Central Festival Pattaya Beach will soon offer the new peony flower inspired fragrance and make-up line.
