Pattaya Helps Retailers Recover from the Recent Political Turmoil

A two-day long ‘Pattaya Shop on the Beach Event’ was recently held with the aim of helping store owners whose shops were shut down during the political events in Bangkok. There were over 1,000 participants both from Bangkok and Pattaya selling merchandise including clothes, food and drinks.
The event was officially opened by Mr. Yornlayong Phualard, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce (sixth from left) and was attended by Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome (fifth from left) along with other Thai celebrities who came to entertain the packed crowd. The Peace Sign resembles the unity of the Thai people and the way we are working together to help unify and improve our country.
