The roasting of the biggest ‘Khaow Larm’ in the world is not to be missed.


A three-day long Culture on the Beach Festival will be held on June 26-28 at Pattaya Beach Road Soi 4-6 from 9:00 am onwards.



The festival will feature events a cultural parade, a traditional Thai exhibition, a Thai dessert cooking demonstration, Thai dancing and traditional Thai children activities. Also on offer will be a Thai long-drum performance and booths selling OTOP products.

The highlight of the event is the "Chonburi" show which will feature leading performers who will be showing how Chonburi became the way it is today. Chonburi Governor Saenee Chittakasaem and Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome will also be appearing at the show. Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol will also be participating in the cooking of the biggest ‘Khaow Larm’ in the world. Khaow Larm is glutinous rice roasted in bamboo joints.

The aim of the event is to show traditional Thai art and culture to the newer generations. Tourists are welcome too. It is an event not to be missed if you want to learn how Thai people used to live and how we became who we are today. It is also your opportunity to enjoy affordable traditional Thai products and food.
