The Pattaya Orphanage Youth Football Team was recently invited to join the International Youth Tournament at Frechen, Germany. The team was led by Reverend Father Francis Kritsada Sukapat, Deputy Director of the Pattaya Orphanage along with two teachers ‘Kru Siam’ and ‘Kru Phop’ (Kru means teacher) and 12 orphaned children. The players were coached by a special German Adviser Heiko Klimanchewsky.

During their stay in Germany the students and the teachers got the chance to visit many wonderful places such as the River Rhein am Mainz, a soccer stadium in Cologne, Phantasialand Bruehl and the famous Cathedral at Cologne and some amusement parks.

"The children were very excited to travel by airplane and being out of Thailand for the first time. They learnt new sporting techniques and had an amazing experience. This trip also gave us an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between German and Thai teenagers. The students visit was well received by the German people and newspapers as well," said Director of the Human Help Network Foundation Thailand Radchada Chomjinda.
