Color of the East Fair Coming to Pattaya Beach July 1-4

Four provinces in the Eastern Seaboard; Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat are getting together to host the ‘Color of the Eastern Seaboard Fair’ which will be held on Pattaya Beach Road from July 1-4.



Each province will be bringing their signature food and products to be sold at the event.

The purpose of the event is to promote tourism in the four provinces to encourage locals from each province to travel to neighboring provinces to stimulate the economy. The fair will focus on offering cheap short-stay deals and special weekend packages.

The fair will also promote tourist destinations in the Eastern Region that are not very popular and are sometimes overlooked by foreigners as well as Thais. Booths will be showing the traditional way of life in each province and highlight their differences. Upcoming events for the rest of this year in the four provinces will also be announced.

The Fair will also feature dances that represent the signature of each province; Chonburi is known for its beautiful beaches in Pattaya, Rayong is known as the birth place of renowned Thai poet Sunthornphu and it is where the famous Koh Samet is located, Chantaburi is well known as the place where traditional Thai fruits can be found and the place with one of the best waterfalls and Trat is known for its sweet rakum palm and the Koh Chang Archipelago.

There will be concerts by Thai signers, water sports and a magic shows throughout the four days.

The four-day fair will be held along Pattaya Beach Road in front of Mike Shopping Mall from 6:00 pm onwards.
