Food and Hotel Expo to be Held August 5th to 7th

Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome (standing in the center) gives a thumbs up during last year’s Food and Hotel Expo along with the cheerful chefs from leading hotels and restaurants throughout Pattaya.

This year’s ‘Pattaya Food & Hotel Expo’ will be held on August 5-7 at the PEACH Convention Centre at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort.

Pattaya Deputy Mayor Ronnakit Ekkasing said, "We have prepared a budget of 1.9 million baht for the upcoming ‘Pattaya Food & Hotel Expo’. The event is aimed to boost tourism, improve the local economy as well as giving hotel owners in the Eastern region a chance to promote their business."

There will also be a concurrent public expo on Pattaya Beach Road on the same three days. The highlight of the event will be first ever Pattaya City Culinary Cup, a cooking competition for Pattaya's best and the 10th Thailand "Battle of the Bartender Winner Cup" for all aspiring bar tenders. There will also be 15 other competitions which will challenge hotel workers across a wind range of skills.

Attendees can expect to be entertained with live concerts from Thai signers while enjoying the opportunity to buy discounted kitchenware products and being offered special promotional packages from hotels and restaurants.

The event is being organized by the Food and Beverage Management Association Eastern Region, Pattaya and the Eastern Seaboard Chef Association and the Eastern Seaboard Housewife Club.

With the teaming up of these three professional organizations the event is sure to be a great success and not to be missed.
