Workers from entertainment venues across Pattaya were recently given a lecture concerning safe sex, AIDS prevention, and other sexually transmitted diseases.

The lecture was led by Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome who discussed the importance of understanding AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. He wanted to make sure that everyone knows how AIDS is transmitted, the dangers of HIV and AIDS and what people can do to prevent themselves from becoming infected. The aim of the lecture was to continue to reduce the number of HIV / AIDS patients in Pattaya.

The lecture discussed how AIDS is passed on from one person to another through activities such as unsafe sex and other unhygienic activities. The talk also encouraged everyone to pass on their knowledge to their friends and family members. Attendees were also asked to get regular check ups at their local hospital.

In the past Pattaya City has conducted several campaigns to create awareness about AIDS. Students at all Pattaya City Schools are constantly working on projects and exhibitions about AIDS and safe sex following the Mayor’s wish to reduce the number of AIDS victims.

Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol added, "For those people who already know about AIDS, it would be beneficial to us all if we could teach our children, co workers and staff about this issue so that we can make Pattaya a better and safer place."
