Tornado Chasing

As tornado experts confirmed, it was a rare "supercell" - and one of the most terrifying recorded - he said proudly: "It was amazing. Most residents were thinking the world was going to end."

Mike's home in Blair, Nebraska, is slap bang in the middle of America's "tornado alley".

He quit his job at a corn mill six years ago to make a living out of photographing storms. Mike said: "The only way to witness those crazy formations was to go and chase them."
